Pushpa Raj is back! After creating a box office storm and worldwide frenzy with Pushpa: The Rise in 2021, the OG team is back in the theaters with the sequel. Pushpa The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil in key roles and is directed by Sukumar. The film has had audience in anticipation ever since it was announced. And after a wait, that seemed never ending, the film has finally hit screens. The trailer and songs ensured the new movie Pushpa The Rule continues to rule headlines, fuelling expectations. Team BollywoodLife is watching the movie right now and here’s the first impression.
The film takes you right into the world of Pushpa from the word go. The vintage setting draws you right in and Allu Arjun‘s entry is totally seeti-maar. He exudes fearless heroism that Pushpa Raj is known for and Sukumar’s commendable writing lays the foundation of all that has changed in Pushpa Raj’s life since Pushpa: The Rise to Pushpa: The Rule. It also doesn’t waste time in establishing that Pushpa vs Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat conflict has intensified with the latter baying for his blood. Right before the interval, the movie takes an interesting turn leaving you waiting and excited for what’s coming next. The action sequences so far are awe-inspiring, staying true to the firebrand Pushpa. Allu Arjun brings back the same conviction and swag and rules every frame. Rashmika Mandanna is a delight too as the smitten wife but Fahadh Faasil, who left us asking for more in the first part, shines throughout. There is also some comic relief which is laced naturally into the narrative. And every scene is woven with interesting dialogues and one liners. But picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.
