Bison Kaalamaadan box office collection day 5: Bison Kaalamaadan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, has maintained its strong performance at the box office far into its fifth day. Despite having little marketing and only mild competition, the Dhruv Vikram movie has done well in its first few days of release. Early projections from the Sacnilk website indicate that the movie made Rs 5.50 crore (India net) on its fifth day, bringing its total revenue across all languages to Rs 22.10 crore. On its first day, the movie made Rs 2.7 crore. It then had steady increase throughout the weekend, reaching a high of Rs 6 crore on Monday and then remaining steady on Tuesday.

The movie is still receiving a lot of support from Tamil viewers, as seen by its total 62.35% occupancy rate as of Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Occupancy in the morning was 43.51%. According to ETimes review for the film, “The film also does a good job transitioning from black and white to colour and from past to present. It’s hard not to root for the film’s protagonist considering the innumerable odds stacked against him. But, at the same time, Bison as well as Kittan feel emotionally distant.”
