Recently, a picture went viral on the social media wherein netizens assumed that the baby featured in it is Akaay. But, Virat’s sister Bhawna clarified on Instagram stories, ‘Have been seeing Virat and Anushka’s friend’s daughter being mistaken for Akaay on social media. The child in the picture is not our Akaay.. thank you’. Akaay was born on February 15, 2024 and the parents released a statement saying, ‘With abundant happiness and hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time of our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time’.
Moreover, under the ‘meaning’ sub-section on Google’s Year in Search 2024 list, Akaay ranks in the second spot. ‘All eyes on Rafah’ secured the top spot on the list. Cervical Cancer, Tawaif, Demure ranked on third, fourth and fifth spot respectively. The other words that made it to the list are as follows – Pookie, Moye Moye, Good Friday, Stampede, Consecration.
