Actress Samridhii Shukla, currently seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai spoke her heart out about potential changes in TRPs after leap. Here’s what she said.
Popular television actress Samridhii Shukla, who essays the character of Abhira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai shares amazing on-screen chemistry with Rohit Purohit aka Armaan. The actress spoke to IndiaForums as she spoke about the changes in TRP ratings after the show witnessed a 7-year leap.
Samridhii said, “See, I don’t keep any expectations as per ratings are concerned. That’s not our concern. But we are, three of us, we’re enjoying this new flavor”. She also spoke about Abhira, Dadi Sa and Vidya’s chemistry in the show especially after the leap. ”We are enjoying doing a lot of these light-headed scenes and also a lot of bonding, trauma bonding also together because we all have come to this. We are out of the Poddar house now. We have to pay EMI instalments. We have to fight with the bhajiwala, you know, all of this. So, yeah, it’s very interesting,” said Samridhii.
The actress expressed her excitement about the show taking a leap earlier and said that they already started shopping and are having fun. She had said, “It’s three people that I didn’t imagine would ever come and face all these problems together. And it’s also even more exciting to find what brought them together, that we will unfold in the coming episodes.” She concluded by saying that Armaan has a woman in his life, but Abhira does not know what is the relationship.
In the current track of the show, Anshuman has entered Abhira’s life and has fallen for her. Kaveri and Vidya want Abhira to get settled with Anshuman and move on from Armaan. While, on the other hand, Armaan reaches Udaipur and sees Abhira happy with Anshuman. Meanwhile, Anshuman will be seen expressing his feelings for Abhira. What will happen next?
