Vishnu Manchu’s mythological action thriller – Kannappa – made it to the theatres today, i.e., on June 27. The film directed by Manoj Kumar Singh has opened to good reviews. Fans are quite thrilled with this cinematic experience. The movie has special cameos by stalwarts like Mohanlal, Prabhas and Akshay Kumar making it all the more interesting. The film is getting good response at the box office but there’s already some buzz around its OTT release.

In the recent times, films have hit OTT platform within a few weeks of their release. In recent times, Kamal Haasan‘s movie Thug Life hit headlines for its OTT release within four weeks of its theatrical release. So when will Vishnu Manchu‘s Kannappa hit OTT platform? The actor himself has shed some light on it. Vishnu Manchu shared that isn’t under any pressure to release the movie on OTT soon, so it won’t begin streaming before 10 weeks from its release. As reported by entertainment news section of India Today, Vishnu Manchu said, “I have a very large freedom; my movie will not come to OTT before 10 weeks. That is the deal I have, and by God’s grace, I don’t have any release pressure. My only intention is to showcase the best to the audience.”
Kannppa box office report day 1
Meanwhile, there is massive interest over Kannappa’s box office collection. It is being reported that the movie will take a great start at the box office on day one. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Vishnu Manchu’s movie has made around Rs 5.37 crore at the box office so far. These are just early estimates and numbers are expected to increase by the end of the day. The movie currently seems to have the potential to become one of the highest-grossing movies of Vishnu Manchu’s career.
