Aishwarya and Disha have worked together in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film Jodhaa Akbar in 2008. Jodha Akbar was a romantic drama film about Mughal Emperor Akbar getting married to Rajput princess Jodhaa and their love story grabbed a lot of eyeballs.

In this film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan played the roles of Jodhaa and Akbar and their on-screen chemistry managed to charm audiences. Disha played the role of Jodhaa’s aide, Madhavi, who went with her to the kingdom of the Mughals after the princess was married to Akbar.
