After much confusion, it has been confirmed that Bigg Boss 19 is on the cards. There were rumours of the show getting cancelled because of tiff between the makers and channel. However, several reports now confirm that Bigg Boss 19 hosted by Salman Khan is on the way. Reports have it that there are some major changes in the format this year. The show is expected to run for 5.5 months instead of 3. Now, fans are curious about the contestants of the show. Latest reports suggest that a Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress has been approached for Bigg Boss 19. She is Munmun Dutta.
As per a report in the entertainment news section of TOI, Munmun Dutta, who plays the role of Babita ji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been approached by the makers to be a participant on the show. However, there is no confirmation as yet. This is not for the first time that Munmun Dutta’s name has cropped up in the list of probable contestants of Bigg Boss. Over the years, there have been reports of the actress being approached for the show and she declining the offer. Earlier, Munmun Dutta had entered Bigg Boss 15 house but as a challenger. She entered the house along with Surbhi Chandna, Vishal Singh, Akanksha Puri. In the past, Munmun has confessed that she is a big fan of the show. So will she take up the offer this time?
Meanwhile, there are many more names that are doing the rounds on the internet as the speculated contestants of Bigg Boss 19. Stars like Sharad Malhotra, Shashank Vyas, Daisy Shah, Khushi Dubey and many more are rumoured to be approached for Bigg Boss 19.
As per reports, this time only TV and film celebs will be participants of Bigg Boss 19. The makers have allegedly decided to not approach YouTubers and social media influencers for the current season. It is being reported that Bigg Boss 19 will begin in July this year.
