Here’s why Nagma and Sourav Ganguly parted ways
The actress openly spoke about her relationship with Sourav and said that they parted ways. Nagma made her Bollywood debut in the 90s and Salman Khan was her first hero. The two starred in Baaghi- A Rebel for Love. During this time, she was getting associated with former cricket team India captain Sourav Ganguly.
Sourav Ganguly and Nagma wanted to get married
Sourav and Nagma met for the first time during the Cricket World Cup in 1999. They grabbed attention with their spotting. As per rumours, both of them were seen together in a temple and rumours of their weddings started doing rounds on social media.
Sourav Ganguly wanted to divorce his wife
Ganguly had been married for two years and in 1997, he went against his family and married his childhood friend Dona. Ganguly asked for a divorce from his wife to marry Nagma. But, he managed to handle his married life and later his wife told the media that the news of Sourav-Nagma’s affair was false.
Nagma is unmarried
But, Nagma said that ‘No matter what anyone says, when two people deny each other, it is not called the end of the relationship, for other things, the issue had come up regarding someone’s career, so they had to separate’. Nagma is still unmarried at the age of 50 and stays lonely.
