Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel became overnight sensations with the release of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai in 2000, directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. Recently, Ameesha shared a cute throwback memory from the film’s shoot, featuring Hrithik and his now ex-wife, Sussanne Khan. In the picture, Ameesha is sitting on the left, Hrithik is standing behind her, and Sussanne sits on the right, looking away casually. The trio appears to be in a candid, relaxed mood, chatting and enjoying each other’s company.
Ameesha captioned the post: “SUNDAY THROWBACK, the cutest dinner party at my Mumbai residence! Hrithik and I had just wrapped a filming schedule. As always, we celebrated our sweet milestones! This time it was an impromptu dinner at my home. Hrithik, Sussanne, and I were always an inseparable, cute trinity! Golden days when friendships between co-stars existed beyond the film ❤️❤️??”
Life After the Film
Hrithik and Sussanne married in 2000 after dating for four years and share two sons, Hrehaan and Hridaan Roshan. Though they separated in 2014, they remain good friends and continue to spend time together with their new partners, Sussanne with Arslan Goni and Hrithik with Saba Azad. The four have even vacationed together, celebrating the New Year in Dubai.
All About Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
The 2000 musical romantic action thriller also starred Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Mohnish Bahl, Ashish Vidyarthi, Satish Shah, Farida Jalal, Asha Patel, Rajesh Tandon, and Tannaz Irani. According to Sacnilk.com, the film was a box-office hit, collecting ₹78.93 crore worldwide and ₹73.12 crore in India.
