Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are now parents.
Steinfeld announced on Substack Thursday that she and her husband, Josh Allen, have welcomed their first child, a daughter. “Our baby girl has arrived!!,” she shared in a post signed by her and Allen. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
The news comes just a couple of weeks after the 29-year-old actress skipped the 2026 Oscars as she prepared to welcome her baby. Her Sinners co-star Michael B. Jordan gave her a shoutout during his best actor acceptance speech, thanking his cast members. “Hailee at home, she’s getting ready to have a baby right now. Thank you so much for being the other, other, other, half of Stack.” Sinners went on to win a total of four Oscars.
In December, the couple announced they were expecting their first child per an Instagram video, in which Steinfeld showed off her baby bump while wearing a shirt that said “Mother” alongside the Buffalo Bills quarterback as they posed together outside in the snow.
Steinfeld and Allen have been dating since 2023 and married on May 31, last year in Santa Barbara, Calif., after announcing their engagement in November 2024.
Aside from Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, Seinfeld is known for her roles in 2010’s True Grit, which earned her an Oscar nomination, The Edge of Seventeen, the Pitch Perfect films and Dickinson, in addition to her music career, with songs like “Love Myself” and “Starving.”
Next up, Steinfeld will star alongside Miles Teller in Paramount Pictures’ sports rom-com Winter Games.
