The action thriller Ground Zero made its entry into the theatres on April 25, 2025. The film stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role and the storyline of the movie is set against the backdrop of terrorism. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Ground Zero completed its first weekend run. The film is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment has maintained a poor run at the box office. As per reports based on the morning trends, on Day 4, the Emraan Hashmi starrer has witnessed a drop in its business and it is expected to earn in the range of Rs 60 lakh to Rs 70 lakh. The film is not performing well in its theatrical run and has witnessed a drop on its first Monday. The film is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Ground Zero has earned a total of Rs 5 crore in its opening weekend at the box office. It is facing tough competition from Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh and Jaat.
Talking about Sunny Deol‘s starrer Jaat has earned Rs 40.25 crore as per Sacnilk.com. The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and the movie has minted Rs 14 crore on its fourth day after release. The film had an opening day collection of Rs 9.5 crore and it has collected Rs 40.25 crore domestically and will soon enter Rs 50 crore mark. Jaat also stars Regena Cassandrra, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar‘s starrer Kesari Chapter 2 has entered its first weekday and has witnessed a sharp decline in earnings on Monday. According to the industry tracker, Sacnilk, Kesar 2 minted Rs 3.62 crore on Monday and has witnessed 69.83% dip in earnings from Sunday on its day 4. The film has crossed Rs 30 crore mark and has done a total business of Rs 33.12 crore. Kesari 2 stars Akshay alongside R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles.
