Uorfi Javed breaks silence on fight with contestants on India’s Got Latent
Uorfi Javed was one of the guests on India’s Got Latent. It is a comedy show where budding stand-up comedians show up to showcase their talent. However, Uorfi Javed got into an altercation with one of the contestants and angrily walked out of the show. Derogatory remarks were passed that left her extremely pissed. The controversy made headlines in entertainment news. Now, for the first time, Uorfi Javed has broken her silence on the controversy. She penned a lengthy note on her Insta stories revealing what exactly happened during the show. She slammed those who slut shammed her and even compared to former adult movie star Mia Khalifa. She started the note by stating that people these days think it is cool to slut shame someone to get views. Uorfi wrote, “I’m sorry but I’m not ok with anyone abusing me, slut shaming me for my body counts (which they don’t know but they just assumed it must be high). All this for what? For 2 mins of fame?”
Further, he penned that the person who abused her wasn’t even joking and got mad at her when she asked him why was he faking being handicapped. He abused her on stage and the next one compared her to Mia Khalifa. ‘”The next one was just trying to be cool, slut shaming me comparing me to Mia Khalifa expressing his displeasure over my high body count. I was disgusted. I should’ve said something to these men but I didn’t cause the place I was at, everyone thought this was cool. No it’s not. It’s not cool,” she wrote.
In the next message, she clarified that there was no fault of Samay Raina in the incident and that he is a good friend.
