The episode on Thursday sees Phyllis being troubled by Nick’s behavior. The two may have been romantically involved at one point in time and have a daughter together, but their equation has drastically changed over the last few months. Especially with Phyllis betraying the Newman family recently.
He was busy dealing with his addiction mess and the Matt Clark drama in Los Angeles, but now that he is back, he is ready for some revenge. Nick made it clear last time that Phyllis would regret what she did, and it seems he is holding true. What has he done to trouble Phyllis this time around?
On the other hand, Matt Clark resurfaces in Genoa City. The whole drama that went up in flames after the explosion led people to believe that Matt is dead. But they were mistaken yet again because Matt is not only alive but also back in town. He is suffering from amnesia, making it hard for him.
And then lastly, Cane makes a promise to Lily. He may have been arrested, but he knows how important his presence is to Lily right now. They were supposed to leave for New York together so he could help Malcolm with his transplant. Especially with Cane being the only donor who was a match.
But now that he is arrested, this shakes up their plans and creates a lot of uncertainty. That does not mean Cane will leave Lily in the dust. He makes a big promise to her, and it seems he will do whatever it takes to secure bail and reach New York. But is he biting off more than he can chew right now?
