The Voice is about to look very different. NBC is flipping the script for 2027 with The Voice: Celebrity, a fun new spin on the singing competition where famous faces, not undiscovered hopefuls, chase the win. To steer all that star power, the show has lined up a brand-new trio of coaches and a fresh host.

Here’s your guide to the coaches, the new host, and when to tune in.

When Does Season 30 of ‘The Voice’ Premiere?

“The Voice: Celebrity” has been announced for NBC in 2027.

Keke Palmer will host, while Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah and Riley Green are set to serve as the show’s coaches.

Before the celebrity edition arrives, there is one more classic season to enjoy. Season 30 of The Voice premieres Monday, September 21, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. That fall run brings back Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, seated alongside newcomers Queen Latifah and Riley Green. The 2027 celebrity season, officially season 31, rolls out after that.

Who Are ‘The Voice’ Coaches for 2027?

The 2027 season, dubbed The Voice: Celebrity, hands the red chairs to three superstars: Queen Latifah, Riley Green, and Joe Jonas. The lineup spans rap royalty, country music, and pop rock, giving the panel a genre range to match its eclectic contestants. Latifah and Green first turned their chairs as coaches in season 30 and are staying put for the celebrity edition. Jonas is the fresh face of the trio, making his U.S. coaching debut, though he is no stranger to the gig after a stint on The Voice Australia in 2018. Rather than unknown singers, this trio will spin their chairs for actors, musicians, athletes, comedians, and other famous names chasing the title.

Who Is Hosting ‘The Voice’ Now?

For the moment, a familiar face is still in charge. Carson Daly, who has hosted The Voice since it began in 2011, returns to emcee season 30 this fall. The big switch comes with the 2027 celebrity season, when Keke Palmer takes over hosting duties. An Emmy winner who also fronts NBC’s Password, Palmer steps in for Daly, who is not vanishing entirely, since he is staying on as a producer.
