Salman Khan isn’t the host who watches every episode of Bigg Boss 19? Read on to know if this is true.
Ashneer Grover has often made headlines for his no-filter comments. As his new show makes waves, the viewers are curious to know if he is nervous about going head-to-head with Bigg Boss 19. While turning down the concerns, Ashneer Grover told the Indian Express, “Nahi yaar, fear kya hai? We’ve launched a new product in the market. It’s a free market. If you launch a new soap in the market and ask not to be compared to other soaps out there, that’s strictly your perception. If people are going to use it for a certain purpose, they’re going to slot you into a certain box. If this follows the reality show format, people are going to club it with other reality shows like Bigg Boss, which has been around for 19 years. So yeah, let there be comparisons. It’s not like my show is going to shut down because of that.”
Ashneer Grover also maintained that competition is bound to happen and he has no qualms in acknowledging these comparisons.
Ashneer takes a dig At Salman Khan?
On being asked if he took cues from Salman Khan’s hosting style, Ashneer said. “One thing I’ve clearly picked up is that you’ve to watch the episodes yourself. You can’t be a part of the show and only go by what’s told to you about what happened on the show. Only if you watch the show will the genuine remarks and comments come out.”
To many viewers this came as a dig at Salman who could be depending on summaries, and not be watching eveery episode necessarily. Ashneer Grover didn’t mention any names while making this remark, but to many it came as a dig at Salman Khan.
Has Ashneer slammed Salman in the past?
This isn’t the first time Ashneer has been honest about Salman Khan. In an earlier interview, he had talked about about an ad shoot when Salman’s team allegedly refused a photo opportunity. Ashneer said, “Maine bola, nahi khichwaunga photo, bhaad main ja tu. Matlab aisi kaunsi heropanti ho gayi.” When Ashneer appeared on Bigg Boss 18 as a guest, Salman Khan had slammed him for making misleading statements and asked him to be careful with his words. While reacting to this, Ashneer Grover apologised, and clarified he didn’t intend to disrespect Salman.
