India’s beloved and veteran actor, Satish Shah, passed away on October 25, 2025. The unfortunate news of the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actor was confirmed by the filmmaker Ashoke Pandit. He revealed that Satish passed away due to kidney failure at the age of 74. The entire television and film industry is mourning his loss. Madhu Shah and Satish Shah’s love story
Madhu Shah is a designer and has done her best to stay away from the limelight. Satish and Madhu’s first meeting took place at the Sipta Film Festival. There, Satish fell in love with Madhu at first sight. He proposed to her; however, she rejected him. However, this did not stop him from pursuing the love of his life.
As the time passed, their bond grew closer. Eventually, on the sets of Saath Saath (1982), Atish proposed to Mashu again on the sets of Saath Saath (1982). The film, which starred Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval in the lead roles, did not prove to be that lucky for Satish. He got rejected by Madhu the second time as well.
It seems like for Satish, the phrase ‘third time’s the charm’ turned out to be completely true. He proposed to Madhu again, and this time, she asked him to talk to her parents. He convinced her parents of his genuine intentions, and the couple got engaged. 8 months later, in 1972, they got married as well.
They were married for over 5 decades. However, the couple never had any children and spent their lives with just each other.
