Telugu star Vijay Devarakonda, who is often lauded for his acting prowess and the bond he shares with fiqance Rashmika Mandanna, met with a road accident on October 6. If reports are anything to go by, Vijay escaped unhurt from the accident. The news comes as a shock and also as a big sigh of relief for the star didn’t get injured. Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are now officially engaged. While they haven’t shared any photos from the ceremony yet, sources suggest the engagement took place at Vijay’s residence in Hyderabad. It was a private affair with just family members in attendance.
Telugu star Vijay Devarakonda reassured fans after a minor road accident on his way from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad. On X, he wrote, “All is well. The car took a hit, but we are all fine… My head hurts, but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. Biggest hugs and love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you.”
Police confirmed that Vijay and two others were in the car when a Bolero suddenly turned, causing a minor collision on the left side of his vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured, and Vijay quickly switched to another car. His team has filed a police complaint for insurance purposes.
This incident comes shortly after reports of Vijay’s private engagement with Rashmika Mandanna on October 3 at his Hyderabad home. The couple is reportedly planning a destination wedding in February 2026. Professionally, Vijay was last seen in the Telugu spy drama ‘Kingdom’, streaming on Netflix.
