    THIS South actor’s film became a flop despite his father being a superstar

    This South actor was labelled as a flop star, despite his father and mother being a pan-India actor. The family has been in the news lately after his elder brother parted ways from his wife in 2021. Can you guess, who this actor is?     Well, we are talking about the Akkineni family. Nagarjuna is one of the biggest superstars in the Telugu industry and has given several blockbuster films. His wife Amala has been a pan India star and she has also worked in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. The two are parents to two sons – Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni. But, unfortunately, both the sons were termed as flop stars in the Telugu industry. Akhil’s film Agent was made on a budget of Rs 100 crores and the movie could not earn Rs 10 crore at the box office. His films did not manage to fetch good numbers at the box office. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is a multi-talented star who has not done good film in sometime now. The handsome actor got engaged to Shobita Dhulipala and their engagement pictures left fans wanting for more.     He debuted as a child artist in the film Sisindri in 1994 and won a Filmfare Special Award. The movie was based on ‘Baby’s Day Out’. Later, he made his debut as a lead actor which made him win the Filmfare Best Male Debut. The action film was directed by VV Vinayak and was co-produced by actor Nithiin.     Akhil was born in the USA and raised in Hyderabad. He appeared in a lead role in the film Hello!, a romantic action movie which was directed by Vikram Kumar. He was later seen in films like Mr. Majnu and Most Eligible Bachelor. Akhil is also the captain of the Telugu Warriors cricket team that competes in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).

    He was engaged to Shriya Bhupal, the granddaughter of renowned business tycoon GV Krishna Reddy, chairman of the GVK group. The two got married in 2017 in Rome. The two called off their wedding, but the reason is still not known to any.
