CID 2 is getting all the love for its interesting twists and turns. The show has won hearts again. Earlier, it had a successful run from 1998 to 2018. After the first hit season, the makers returned with season two in 2024. This was the happiest news for all the fans. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Ajay Nagrath, Aditya Srivastava, Ansha Sayed, Hrishikesh Pandey, Narendra Gupta, and others returned, reprising their iconic roles. This new season is also on Netflix and we have seen so many twists coming up.
We saw Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman dying after which a new ACP enters. Parth Samthaan joined the show as ACP Ayushmaan. He came in to handle the team in ACP Pradyuman’s absence and also to find out who is the ‘gaddar’ in the CID team. ACP Pradyuman returned after Barboza’s plans failed but he was not caught. It was also revealed that Dr. Salunkhe was the ‘gaddar’ who helped Barboza.

Ayushmaan left the team and we saw Inspector Shreya returning after ACP Pradyuman saved her daughter. We saw the emotional reunion of Daya and Shreya. Now, we have another big twist in the show. Daya is now shown as the villain who killed police officers. We also see him planning and discussing something with Shreya secretly.
They have been hiding things from the CID team and to investigate the case, there is another officer entering. The high commission has decided to send another ‘SOS’ officer as the CID team is unable to trap the killer of the police officers.
In this new role, we will have Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actor Sanjay Narvekar. Yes, he is entering the show from next week. He will now investigate this case but will he be able to find out Daya’s truth? This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
