Bollywood actress Bhumika Chawla was seen sharing screen with Salman Khan in the superhit film Tere Naam. The actress was replaced in blockbuster films like Jab We Met and Munna Bhai MBBS. In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Bhumika revealed that she felt disappointed when Kareena Kapoor Khan replaced her in Imtiaz Ali’s film Jab We Met alongside Shahid Kapoor. She even revealed how Gracy Singh was cast in Sanjay Dutt’s film Munna Bhai MBBS.
Bhumika said, ‘The only time I felt bad was when I signed Jab We Met and it didn’t happen. I was the first one, Bobby (Deol) and me, when it was called Train. Then, it was Shahid (Kapoor) and me, and then Shahid and Ayesha (Takia), and then Shahid and Kareena (Kapoor). That’s how things happened but, it’s okay. I only felt bad once and then never again because I just moved on. I don’t think much about it’.
Further in this entertainment news, the actress also spoke about losing Munna Bhai MBBS and said, ‘I had signed up for Munna Bhai MBBS but it didn’t happen. Kannathil Muthamittal with Mani (Ratnam) sir didn’t happen’. She revealed how she had a conversation with Rajkumar Hirani wherein he told her that her replacement was not due to any mistake on her part. She also said that that such decisions are common in the entertainment industry which are taken due to different reasons. The diva has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema. She received a lot of exceptional performances in Tere Naam. She worked in the Punjabi film Yaariyan and worked with Gurdas Maan. She also worked in the film Bhramaram with Mohanlal. She was seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in 2023.
