Speaking to an entertainment portal about the same, Salman Khan said, “If you are getting engaged, then what is the need (to leave the film)? Then she said, ‘You want to get married’, to which I said, ‘Then get married.’
Salman’s suggestion to Priyanka
‘Priyanka’s work was for 75-80 days. Four days of preparation for the wedding and four days of marriage, which happened within eight days and then the honeymoon. So we said that we will find a solution, but she had made up her mind that she would not be a part of this film.” Salman added.

Salman also agreed that it would have been difficult for Priyanka too, It must have been difficult for her to take this decision because she was keen to work with me on this project. She called Arpita 1000 times and said- ‘I want to work with Salman’. She also called Ali and said- ‘See if you can do something for me in this film.’”

Making speculations about Priyanka, Salman said, “Maybe she did not do it because of her marriage or she does not want to work with me anymore. It is also possible that she does not want to work in our industry (Bollywood) and just wants to work in Hollywood. Whatever she wants to do, I wish her all the best. We are happy that she has got engaged and is happy.”
Bharat film
Bharat is an Hindi remake to a Korean film An Ode to My Father. The film featured Katrina Kaif in place of Priyanka Chopra in the film. Bharat released on Eid in 2019 also starred Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover.
