Both of them were stars before the advent of the Internet. On the other hand, I have worked with Chris Hemsworth or John Cena, they have a different approach.’

    Randeep pointed out that the rigorous preparation of Western actors like Hemsworth and Cena adds authenticity to their performances, while the cultural idolisation of Indian male stars affects ground performance and authenticity. ‘They are not worshipped as Indian stars are, and that is what keeps it more real,’ the actor added.

    During the filming of Extraction in 2019, Randeep Hooda had an eye-opening experience. Despite Randeep playing tough roles, he realised he’d never actually thrown a punch on screen.
