Fans’ excitement is evident from the rapid ticket sales across the country within hours of the advance booking opening. According to Sacnilk, as of 5 PM on Saturday, October 18 Over 32154 tickets have been pre-booked for the Hindi 2D format.

38 tickets have been sold for the Telugu 2D version. 557 tickets have been sold for the Hindi IMAX 2D format. 99 tickets have been sold for the Hindi 4DX format.

In total, across all formats, more than 32,848 tickets have been sold nationwide. Without considering blocked seats, the film has already earned ₹63.56 lakh. Including blocked seats, the total collection stands at Rs. 3.72 crore.

Trade experts think that Thamma could earn anywhere between ₹17 to ₹22 crore on its opening day. Something to note is that, the film will clash with Harshvardhan Rane’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. However, Thamma will have a five-day extended opening weekend, which could result in higher earnings.

Producers aim to sell over 1 lakh tickets across PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis theaters. They are optimistic about selling between 1.25 to 1.5 lakh tickets before the first show.
