Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay starrer gets postponed, latter reveals why

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is the most loved show on television. It aired in 2000 and had a successful run for seven years. Tulsi and Mihir’s story has been the favourite of the audience. The show is coming back now. Yes, Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay will be back as Tulsi and Mihir. Ekta Kapoor announced the show’s return and people were happy to know that their favourite Tulsi is returning to complete her story. Ekta announced that the show just needs to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000 episode as it deserves that.

KSBKBT 2 gets postponed?

Now, the preparations for season 2 is going on in full swing. Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring back the magic. Smriti Irani even started shooting for the show with Z-plus security with Amar Upadhyay. The show was set to premiere on its 25th anniversary, July 3, 2025. It will air at the same time slot of 10:30 pm like its first season.

However, the show is now postponed. A source close to Hindustan Times said that the show has been postponed due to ongoing changes to the set. Amar Upadhyay reacted to this news and said that the news is true and the set had to be reworked because the colour combination on the screen wasn’t translating the way it should.

He said, “Ektaa knows exactly what she wants, she’s a perfectionist. And this is Kyunki It’s not just another show. It’s a legacy and she wants to do everything what’s best for the show.” This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

Talking about the cast, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Sandeep Baswana, Shilpa Agnihotri, Rakshanda Khan, Shakti Anand and others will be returning to the show. Actors like Shagun Sharma, Rohit Suchanti, Aman Gandhi, Nidhi Shah, Tanisha Mehta and others have been reportedly approached.
