Munjya featuring Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sharvari Wagh is one of the most loved films of 2024. The horror comedy film was released on June 7 and has been performing quite well at the box office. Critics and audiences have been pouring immense love into the storyline and plot. Well, the people who have watched the film, might have noticed Varun Dhawan‘s cameo in the last scene in Munjya. Well, this was a surprise element for all the people who are eagerly waiting for Bhediya 2. In the clip, Varun Dhawan is seen hiding behind a big rock in the jungle and has covered himself with leaves. He then sees Abhishek Banerjee’s character Janardan and asks him to help who throws some clothes towards Bhaskar. Then Bhaskar wears the underwear and the clip ends which leaves Munjya scared.

Munjya and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya share a connect
Director Aditya Sarpotdar exclusively spoke to Bollywoodlife.com and spilled interesting deets about Munjya and Bhediya. On asking how will Munjya tie up with the Bhediya Universe, Aditya said, ‘Munjya and Bhediya are not face-to-face. But Munjya reacts to what Varun Dhawan says. There is definitely a connection, but the fun is to wait and watch to how will this pan out in the Bhediya sequel.’ Well, Aditya has left fans eagerly waiting for both Bhediya as well as Munjya Part 2.

Talking about Munjya it focuses on a character from Konkan coast folklore. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s production.
On the work front, Varun has Baby John in his kitty. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in important roles. Well, Varun and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed a baby girl on June 3 and are enjoying the parenthood phase.
