Salman Khan’s friend and politician Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai on October 12, 2024. Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed on a Facebook post that they attacked Siddique. The post mentioned that anyone who will help Salman will be dealt with. The police are investigating the case and other matters related to the same. In April, gunshots were fired outside Salman’s house in Mumbai and the Bishnoi gang again took the responsibility of doing the same.
Director Ram Gopal Varma has expressed his anger over everything that has been happening. The filmmaker has been sharing his views on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). RGV wrote, “I wish @BeingSalmanKhan will give a SUPER COUNTER THREAT to B or otherwise , it will look like a COWARDICE of the TIGER STAR ..S K owes it to his fans to rise up as the BIGGER SUPER HERO in comparison to B.”
In another tweet, Varma wrote, “LAWRENCE BISHNOI seems to be more of an ANIMAL than @imvangasandeep‘s #RanbirKapoor.” One more tweet reads, “The B gang seems like a resurgence of a new kind of underworld with a completely different structuring and method of operation .. He’s seemingly a potent mixture of a HINDU DON ( a counter to D) with a VIGILANTE mind set (In delivering his own justice ) in a tone of Bhindranwale (terroristic fervour) and a BHAKT (Wanting to avenge a sacred animal ) Unlike other gangsters of mumbai mafia , he can’t be caught or encountered because he’s already in a high security jail and he’s sure to garner a very huge underground following for being both a hero (to many ) and authorities will be very sensitive to stir a hornets nest especially considering the communal cauldron.”
Netizens have given a mixed response to Ram Gopal Varma’s tweet, where he mentioned Salman Khan should give a counter threat to the Bishnoi Gang. “Salman Khan never gave any attention to these Sarkari Terrorists like Lawarence, He knows they are just taking his name and using Brand Salman Khan to gain some attention,” replied one person. Another wrote, “Why should Salman Khan give a bigger threat? You guys don’t have any trust in the law & order. Rather you should use your voice & reach to pressurise the govt mechanism to imprison the threatener and ensure suitable punishment for him. This isn’t a Bollywood movie that a threat.”
