    Russian Film Festival returns to India with Triumph, The Flying Ship and more movies

    The Russian Film Festival 2024 is here. The festival is marking its return to India where some of the best Russian films will be showcased. It is going to be a three-day long event with five of the major and critically acclaimed Russian movies will be screened for the Indian audience. The carefully curated selection of films is meant to celebrate the rich and diverse world of of Russian Storytelling.

    The Russia Film Festival 2024 is going to be held at two places. In Mumbai, it will be held at Cinepolis Fun Republic, Andheri from December 12 to December 15. In Delhi, it will begin on December 13 and end on December 15. It will be held at Cinepolis in Saket area of Delhi. The top Russian films that will be screened at the festival are Triumph, The Flying Ship, Ice 3, The Pirates of the Barracuda Galaxy, and Guest From the Future.

    It was back in 2011 when the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Embassy in India decided to introduce the audience to world of Russian cinema. This initiative quickly gained momentum, and since then, the festival has been an annual affair, growing stronger with each passing year. It has become a major cultural event, not just for film enthusiasts, but for all those interested in exploring the connections between the two nations through the lens of cinema.

    The Festival of Russian Cinema 2024 will offer much more than just a movie screening. In addition to the film screenings, the festival will also feature discussions and Q&A sessions with filmmakers and also a warm and welcoming atmosphere with complimentary Samosa, Pepsi, and Popcorn for all attendees making it an enjoyable experience. The Russian Film Festival is an initiative that can help bridge the gap between diverse cultures and celebrate the connection through cinema. Festival of Russian Cinema 2024 is expected to be a celebration of culture, cinema, and the timeless friendship between India and Russia.
