Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection day 11: Kantara: Chapter 1, which was released over the holiday season, October 2, had a huge opening day and made over Rs 60 crore in India on its first day of release. The film is soaring at the box office, easily surpassing Bollywood’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari by a wide margin. Let’s examine the day 11 box office receipt of the movie.

According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, Kantara Chapter 1 has surpassed the Rs 400 milestone and is currently getting closer to Rs 450 crore, surpassing Salaar’s Rs 404 crore collection and Baahubali’s Rs 420 crore in India net earnings.
Kantara Chapter 1 debuted with a collection of Rs 61.85 crore, earning Rs 45.4 crore on Day 2, Rs 55 crore on Day 3, Rs 63 crore on Day 4, Rs 31.5 crore on Day 5, Rs 34.25 crore on Day 6, and Rs 25.25 crore on Day 7. The film earned Rs 21.15 crore on Day 8, 22.25 crore on Day 9, and 39 crore on Day 10. According to early estimates, the film earned another Rs 39 crore on Day 11, bringing the total revenue to Rs 437.65 crore in India net.
Kantara breaks Saiyaara’s lifetime collection
Saiyaara is the second-highest-grossing film of 2025 in both Bollywood and Indian cinema, trailing only Chavaa (Rs 01.54 crore).
The film starring Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda grossed Rs 329.2 crore in India and Rs 569.75 crore internationally. Now, Kantara Chapter 1 has overtaken it at the Indian box office. According to SacNilk, it took 46 days for Saiyaara to reach the 300 crore mark, whilst Kanthara Chapter 1 did it in 8 days.
