Real Housewives fans: The London-set version of Hayu‘s hit reality series will return to the streamer on Sept. 7.
The returning Real Housewives of London cast members include Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker, and Nessie Welschinger. In season two, we’re picking up in the aftermath of a fracturing off-camera dinner. The women are attempting to move forward through charity galas, Fashion Week front rows, Lunar New Year celebrations, and a luxury trip to Antigua.
Angus is back in Amanda’s good books this season, having her most personal season yet. “With Gigi packing for university and a long overdue trip to Poland to finally lay her father to rest, Juliet is learning how to let go… However, whether she’s setting the rules at her own styling event or delivering the most lethal set at the Drag Roast, her tongue remains the sharpest in London,” said Hayu. “But standing shoulder to shoulder with Amanda means inheriting her fallouts, and this season, the crossfire comes from every direction.
For Cronin, business is booming, and she is firmly in CEO mode. “But when her rekindled friendship with Juliet Angus leaves Karen feeling pushed out, Amanda finds herself juggling tensions on every front, and a treatment at her own clinic spirals into a saga that threatens the one thing she’s built her name on.”
Loderick-Peace is opening the season at a charity event, raising funds for Jamaica and hosting the girls’ trip of a lifetime in Antigua. “But as Amanda and Juliet Angus grow close again, Karen starts to wonder exactly where she stands — and asking the question out loud sets off one of the season’s biggest clashes. Sidelined but never silenced, Karen leans on Jeremy and the girls as old wounds from her past resurface… This season, Karen is done giving more than she gets back.”
After a “bruising start that leaves her on the outside looking in,” Mayhew is determined to win the group over one woman at a time. Against all odds, it starts to work. “With her West End dreams coming alive and Tiggy cheering from the wings, Juliet is finally finding the thing that fulfils her beyond motherhood,” teased the streamer. “But just as she steps into the spotlight, fate has other plans, and the woman accused of performing all season is about to show everyone exactly who she really is.”
Parker, “armed with the most expensive lips in London and opinions to match,” is done biting her tongue in season two. “When the lips in question become the season’s biggest source of tension, her friendship with Amanda is pushed to the brink, and Panthea decides that if anyone’s going to force this group to be honest, it’s her.”
Meanwhile, Welschinger is holding down the fort, with Remy abroad and her dad’s well-being on her mind. “When the women demand she gets off the fence, Nessie discovers her voice, and it turns out she’s funnier and fiercer than anyone expected. Between hosting Chinese New Year, stealing the show at the Drag Roast and facing down a new arrival who claims to know who she really is, Nessie is proving that the nicest woman in the room is nobody’s pushover.”
The Real Housewives of London will be available to stream on Hayu from Sept. 7, with episodes dropping weekly. Following the 10-episode run, the season will culminate with a reunion special, hosted again by U.K.-based comedienne Katherine Ryan.
