Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running since 2009. The show has a huge fan following and recently, it has been in the news since a few months. The fourth generation story of the show began and we had new actors coming in. Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were cast as the leads. However, within a few months, Shehzada and Pratiksha were removed from the show for their unprofessional behaviour. It was being reported that Shehzada mistreated the staff and Pratiksha was not good with her work. It was also being said that Shehzada and Pratiksha were dating and spent a lot of time in their makeup room which delayed shoots. Pratiksha is now seen in Arjit Taneja and Sriti Jha starrer Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. She recently spoke to Times Now and denied being in a relationship with Shehzada. She also revealed how her parents reacted to her ouster from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Pratiksha reveals how her parents reacted when she was removed from YRKKH

She said that instead of being shocked her family was feeling bad for her. She said that her parents know their daughter and they also know that she cannot even shout loudly. She shared that they were hurt but the trust her and know that she cannot do anything wrong.

Pratiksha is now seen as Priyanka in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. She is playing the role of Virat’s ex-wife who has come to separate him from Amruta.

Recently, Shehzada Dhami also opened up about the allegations made against him by Rajan Shahi. He said that all the allegations are false and that he never asked anyone on the sets to call him ‘sir’. Shehzada also said that he never took retakes and that Rajan Shahi questioned his upbringing.

He also dismissed the rumours of him dating Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada also revealed that it was Rajan Shahi who asks everyone to touch his feet when he comes on the sets.

After Shehzada and Pratiksha were removed, Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani replaced them.
