Yes, we are talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan starrer Karan Arjun. The movie released in 1995 and is a very special movie for the fans of these stars. This was their first movie together and the film will complete 30 years soon. Hence, the movie is re-releasing in the theatres on November 22.
However, there are many things about this movie that not many people know about. The movie also stars Kajol, Mamta Banerjee, Rakhee, Amrish Puri, Johnny Lever, Arjun, Jack Gaud, Ranjit and Asif Sheikh. Not many know that before making this film, the cast and even the title of the film was changed.
Rakesh Roshan had appeared on Indian Idol 13 when he said that Ajay Devgn was supposed to play the role played by Salman. But Ajay could not do the movie and hence, it was given to Salman. The name of the film was supposed to Kainaat and it later changed to Karan Arjun.
The film was a big hit and as per reports, the makers had spend Rs 6 crore on the film but it earned much more than this. The film collected around Rs 43 crores, which was 7 times more than the budget of the film. The movie is releasing again and it all set to win hearts all over again.
