Netflix‘s chief communications officer Dani Dudeck has made two key ex-U.S. hires overseas.

Flávia Vígio will be the streaming giant’s vice president of communications for Latin America, and Joy Albert has been named vice president of communications for the Asia-Pacific region. Both will report to Dudeck, who has served as CCO at Netflix since January.

Vígio, with over two decades of comms and marketing experience, joins Netflix from TelevisaUnivision, where she was EVP of communications. Before this, she was at WarnerMedia, as vp of consumer marketing and public relations for general entertainment Latin America, and prior to that, Vígio served as vp of communications for McDonald’s in LatAm.

Vigio is described by Netflix to lead communications “with a strategic business approach, having supported corporate transactions at WarnerMedia, TelevisaUnivision, and the spinoff and IPO of McDonald’s in Latin America. Her career spans integrated marketing and communications, in areas including corporate, media and public relations.”

She recently took a sabbatical year dedicated to studying AI and working with a technology team to develop new resources for reputation measurement and management. She started at Netflix on Feb. 2 and is based in their Mexico City office.

Albert, set to take on the role from Mar. 9 in Singapore, also has over 20 years of experience having joined from Google where she was leading the regional comms and public affairs team. Joy has handled complex, high-stakes issues for Google and YouTube across 13 markets, including content, online safety, regulation, as well as investment and M&A comms.

The exec brings earlier international experience from Bertelsmann and Burson-Marsteller, advising technology, media and FMCG companies across Asia and Europe.

“Flávia and Joy are seasoned leaders with deep expertise in their markets and a strong track record of shaping impactful narratives for technology, entertainment, and consumer brands,” said Dudeck. “Their perspectives will complement our talented teams in each region as we continue to tell the Netflix story in ways that are locally relevant and globally resonant. I’m excited for what we’ll build together in the years ahead and proud to welcome them to our team.”
