Social media continues to buzz with opinions about them being spotted, upcoming projects. Interestingly, there’s a new Bachchan grabbing everyone’s attention! It’s none other than Big B’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, who has been stealing the spot.
Everyone is aware that she is studying at IIM Ahmedabad. She had announced the same on Instagram. For the unversed, she is studying the Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP), and has been sharing several photos with her fans. She had earlier shared photos with her classmates.
She also spoke about about how she met some best people at the best campus. Sharing these photos, she wrote, “Best campus with the best people.”

When Navya had announced her admission to the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad for an online MBA program, many were thrilled. However, others were quick to question the credibility of her admission process. IIM Ahmedabad professor Promila Agarwal came to Navya’s defense on social media and cleared the air.

“The acceptance rate for this program is low, like others. Even if people want to discount her interview & CV, she, dammit, cleared the cut-off. For a long time, India has been debating why elite families move out of India for higher education. Why don’t they study in Indian colleges? One lady makes it to IIMA for an online MBA & everyone is worked up,” she had said.
Navya hasn’t just co-founded Aara Health, but also started the NGO Project Naveli in her early twenties. In an interview with ETimes, Navya talked about how belonging to a privileged background influenced her career choice. For the unversed, Navya joined her father Nikhil Nanda’s business when she was barely 21. She has also hosted a vodcast called What the Hell Navya, which featured her mother Shweta Bachchan, herself, and her grandmother Jaya Bachchan.
Navya had said, “I don’t consider myself a celebrity, I think I have a lot more to do and achieve in life before I can be given that tag.”
