Not only did the film rock the box office, but its lead actors Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda also made a lot of headlines. In the film, Ahaan appeared in the role of Krrish Kapoor and Aneet in the role of Vani Batra. The on-screen chemistry of both won the hearts of the audience. Interestingly, this was the debut of both as leads. After the success of the film, Aneet Padda became a star overnight. However, in a recent interview, Aneet spoke openly about her struggles.

Aneet revealed that her journey was not easy at all. She said that she did not have money to go to Mumbai and give auditions. In such a situation, she used to record auditions secretly at home. Aneet told that she would close the door of her room and tell her parents that she was studying. But in reality, she used to make audition videos to fulfill her acting dreams. She clearly said that she knew that she would have to do all this on her own, as her parents could not help financially. Aneet said, “I always wanted to act. I would record auditions and lock my door, telling my parents I was doing homework. I knew I’d have to do this on my own because my parents didn’t have enough money to take me to Mumbai to audition. My mom, my dad, my friends, that’s what matters. Anyone else, I really don’t care.”

According to the website of Yash Raj Films (YRF), Aneet started her career with advertisements. This experience gave her an opportunity to understand the work of the entertainment industry. In the year 2022, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Salaam Venky, which also starred Kajol in the lead role. Although her role in the film was small, the audience and critics praised her work. This experience later opened the way for big films for her.
