Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer saw his total compensation rise to $19.37 million in 2026, according to the company’s latest proxy filing released Tuesday.

That’s up from fiscal 2025 when Feltheimer received $9.82 million in total pay, and just above the $18.2 million he earned as part of his overall compensation package for fiscal 2024. Feltheimer’s 2026 compensation included an unchanged $1.5 million base salary, but his bonus rose to $6.5 million, against a $1.2 million bonus in fiscal 2025 and an $11 million bonus for fiscal 2024.

During the latest financial year, Lionsgate had two box office hits in Michael and The Housemaid, and virtually all its scripted TV series were renewed for additional seasons. Feltheimer received $10.6 million in stock awards last year, compared with $6.7 million in year-earlier stock awards and $5.42 million in fiscal 2024.

Feltheimer received no option awards or non-equity incentive plan compensation in each of the last three years. His contract was extended through 2031, with the three tranches of stock options included in that contract vesting only if Lionsgate stock reaches target prices of $17.50, $20.00 and $22.50, respectively.

That keeps Feltheimer in the CEO post he has filled since March 2000 alongside vice chairman Michael Burns. The latest contract extension follows the media giant  launching Lionsgate Studios as a standalone, publicly traded company, split off from the Starz premium platform.

Lionsgate Studios on NASDAQ has aimed to give the Hollywood studio options in separating its film and TV studios and Starz, including raising fresh capital and merging with existing businesses.

Also in the SEC filing, Lionsgate reported vice-chairman Burns in fiscal 2026 received an overall compensation package of $4.65 million, down from the $7.72 million in total pay he received in the year earlier period and the $8.8 million in pay he received in fiscal 2024.

And CFO James Barge received $6.3 million in overall pay in fiscal 2026, against $7.12 million in overall pay in fiscal 2025 and $8.6 million in pay for fiscal 2024.
