Initially planned to be shot in India, the film moved abroad following the 2016 Uri attack. Despite challenges, it released on Eid al-Adha and became one of Pakistan’s highest-grossing films of the year. The ensemble cast included Humayun Saeed, Kubra Khan, Fahad Mustafa, Mawra Hocane, Sohail Ahmed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mehwish Hayat, and Fawad Khan in a cameo.
