In the interview, she said that there are a lot of judgemental people in the world. She added that she was very young when she did Kaanta Laga and society judged her by saying that she brought shame to family, and it affected her.
She said, “Jab meine Kaanta Laga kiya tha, bohot hi zyada controversial hogaya tha gaana. Aur mein bohot hi choti thi and us waqt jis tarah se mujhe society ne judge kiya. Yeh tak baatein hone lagi thi ke ‘iske bhai ne isko maar dala, she brought shame to the family’. Mein itni zyada choti thi ki mujhe bohot hi zyada affect karne laga. But mere liye bohot important cheez yeh rahi ki mera support system bohot strong raha hai.”
