Justin and Hailey Bieber are officially parents to a baby boy!
The couple announced on social media Friday night they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber.
“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” the “Love Yourself” singer wrote on Instagram. Hailey also shared her husband’s post on her Instagram Story, adding a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.
Justin and his model-turned-beauty mogul wife, Hailey, first publicly revealed they were expecting their first child together in May, posting a video and series of photos on Instagram at the time.
The couple has been married since September 2018, following a brief engagement.
Earlier this summer, in July, Hailey opened up about her pregnancy journey and motherhood in an interview with W Magazine.
“In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me. Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’” the daughter of Stephen Baldwin said. “I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”
She also shared that she was able to keep her pregnancy quiet for a while because she “stayed small for a long time,” adding, “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant … I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
“I probably could have hid it until the end, but I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly,” Hailey continued. “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
