Actor Jr NTR, who injured himself during an ad shoot in Hyderabad earlier this month, made his first public appearance at a promotional event for Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1. While fans were happy to see him, many grew concerned after a video from the event went viral. In the now viral clip, Jr NTR can be seen sitting on a couch at the venue, clearly uncomfortable. He is seen touching the left side of his ribs, indicating pain. Even on stage, while addressing the audience, he was spotted holding his ribs, sparking fresh concern about his recovery.

How the Injury Happened
The actor sustained the injury on September 19 while shooting for an advertisement in Hyderabad. Soon after, his team issued an official statement clarifying that it was a minor injury. Doctors advised him to take a few weeks of rest to ensure complete recovery.
Team Issues Update
In their statement, Jr NTR’s team assured fans that there is no cause for alarm. “Mr NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks to ensure a complete recovery,” the note read. They also urged fans and media not to speculate unnecessarily about his health.

On the work front, Jr NTR is preparing for his upcoming role in director Prashanth Neel’s next film. Reports suggest the actor has shed nearly 9.5 kg of muscle to get into character for the highly anticipated project.
