Jayda Cheaves has signed with WME for representation.

The move follows the fashion powerhouse and social media star in Jan. 2026 announcing she had signed with then-named Wasserman before the talent and management firm rebranded as The Team amid a formal sales process.

Now, after parting ways with the talent agency founded by Casey Wasserman, it will be WME’s job to turn Cheaves’ viral fame as a content creator and entrepreneur into new business ventures after she already became the CEO and face of brands like Waydamin, Jayda Cheaves Beauty, Fidele Clothing and Girl Wipes.

WME, which like other Hollywood talent agencies is looking to sign up new entertainment and storytelling talent pushing ahead in the fast-growing creator economy, will look to leverage Cheaves’ social media platform presence to widen her consumer footprint. That includes 8.4 million followers on Instagram, another 4.7 million followers on TikTok and over 400,000 followers on YouTube.

By age 16, Cheaves had already impressed with entrepreneurial and branding skills in business ventures like hair sales, merchandise and curated fashion resales. By targeting digital communities, Cheaves has worked with fashion brands like Savage x Fenty, Pretty Little Thing, and True Religion.

She hosts her own podcast, Act Normal, and starred in the BET+ reality series The Impact: ATL and appeared in Bid For Love and the Amazon Prime documentary My Time Now.
