ColorCreative, the management and production company co-founded by Issa Rae, Deniese Davis and Talitha Watkins, is launching the third year of its Find Your People Program.

Designed to elevate emerging creative voices, FYPP aims to nurture talent, foster community and expand access to the entertainment industry, with partners including Canva, Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand Black Community Commitment, MAC/Viva Glam, Ghetto Film School and Pop Culture Collaborative.

The program is inspired by Stanford Business School’s Interpersonal Dynamics course, preparing participants to lead with confidence in high-stakes creative environments. Returning as executive producer and producing mentor is Bronwyn Cornelius, whose work on 2019’s Clemency earned the Sundance Grand Jury Prize.

“FYPP is our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive creative industry,” Watkins said in a statement. “We’re not just discovering the next wave of storytellers — we’re preparing them to lead with vision, resilience and impact.”

Ahead of year three’s kickoff, FYPP’s year two achievements will be celebrated with a premiere event honoring the accomplishments of its standout cohorts; on June 23, the program’s latest short films will debut at AMC Century City 15, bringing together industry leaders, established creatives and rising talent. During the program’s second year, eight original short films were produced, four of which were selected by major festivals including Slamdance, Pan African Film Festival, American Black Film Festival and NY Latino Film Festival. Alumni have also gone on to work on projects for ColorCreative and Rae’s media company Hoorae.

A full list of the year three cohorts is below:

Producers: Octavia Pride, Morgan Powell, Sofia Ribeiro, Stephanie Franco
Directors: Matthew Serrano, David Barbier, Jr., Asar Saint Lamont, Laurie Gardiner
Cinematographers: Samson Binutu, Joseph Choi, Allysa Lisbon, Jordan Rose
