In a recent conversation with Times Now, Ishaan Khatter, spoke at length about his bonding with co-star Bhumi Pednekar on the sets of Royals, and how he felt ‘very safe’ while performing intimate scenes with Tabu in A Suitable Boy.
Ishaan Lauds Writers
Ishaan lauded the writers of A Suitable Boy series for addressing the age gap between the two characters. The actor mentioned that if the age gap was overlooked, the scene would have looked out of place.

Speaking about his experience, Ishaan said, “I think a lot of it is in the writing. I don’t think, for example, if you were to put Tabu and I in another story, in another piece of writing, where, for example, we overlooked the age gap or that we didn’t address it, it might have looked out of place.”
Ishaan on Intimate Scenes
The Pippa famed actor also lauded Tabu for her professionalism and her acting prowess. He said, “And with an actress like Tabu, honestly, it’s like, you don’t have to talk about it. I have to say, and this sounds, I don’t know, this might sound off or something, but I was not freaked out, absolutely not.”
Ishaan on Tabbu’s Behaviour
He added, She would be talking about random things, like, what do you want for lunch or something, or like, usko dekha kaise aankhe banara tha… She is very naughty, she’s like a child on set.”

Ishaan Khatter recently grabbed everyone’s attention after making his red carpet debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. The actor was present there to attend the premier of his film, Homebound.
4. Cannes Red Carpet Debut
Homebound which is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and executively produced by Martin Scorsese premiered at the Cannes on May 21. The movie features Ishan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor and Vishal Jethwa in the lead roles.
