Bollywood actor Isha Koppikar has become a household name and she was quite active in the industry with her roles in various roles. The diva recently revealed feeling uncomfortable while romancing actors older than her. She even said that she had no choice as she was new to Bollywood and believed that it was the norm. Isha even said that the audience today is quick to call out the age gap between the actors, but earlier it was not that easy.

Isha Koppikar talks about romancing elder heroes in films
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Koppikar was asked about romancing older actors like Suniel Shetty and Govinda in films including Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. She said that she felt uncomfortable while working with someone 30 or 20 years older than her. She even said that she worked with elder heroes and felt uncomfortable and said that she does not get the feeling while hugging her partner or lover. She said that she felt hugged like her father and not lover.
She even continued saying that she is an actor and one has to focus on the part and forget they are elderly. She revealed not feel cringe with everyone, some of them had maintained themselves well and would not look their age, but had that air and demeanor of a senior, due to age and experience in the industry.
Isha also said that actors should understand what they look and accordingly play the part. She also hopes that it changes so the audience is not foolish. She even said that in theatres people say, ‘Ye kitna buddha lag raha hai, ghar pe baith; apni beti ki umar ki ladki saath romance kar raha hai’. She even recalled the time she was humiliated on the sets by its choreographer, who lashed out at her that she should return to Mumbai as she did not do the steps properly.
