It is a part of the film series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. According to IMDb, the plot of the movie is, “The Demon Slayer Corps are drawn into the Infinity Castle, where Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the Hashira face terrifying Upper Rank demons in a desperate fight as the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji begins.” The movie has sold over 1 lakh tickets for its opening day in India, which made it the highest-grossing non-Hollywood foreign animated film in the country.

As per the records of Sacnilk, the film is expected to earn Rs 15 crores on ticket sales for the opening weekend. The film has beaten the records of even movies like Suzume and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 with the pre-sales.
Sacnilk reports that over 250,000 tickets for the film have been sold across the major film theater chains, like PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, etc.
This year, Mahavatar Narsimha became the highest-grossing Indian animated film ever, gaining over ₹200 crore in worldwide collections. It also got its place in the list of 80 highest-grossing Hindi films of all time, and now Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is ready to dominate the theaters worldwide and in the country. 2025 seems like a good year for animated films.
