Wuthering Heights has been hard once again with the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, especially in North America. The movie has failed to match Project Hail Mary at the box office, featuring Margot Robbie’s Barbie co-star Ryan Gosling. But she is on the verge of surpassing one of Gosling’s biggest hits, Crazy, Stupid, Love, in North America. Keep scrolling for the deets.

The romance drama will soon leave theaters, but it is a moderate box-office success. The film generated a lot of buzz and received mixed reviews from critics. However, fans enjoyed the chemistry between Margot and Jacob Elordi. It is the third-highest-grossing Hollywood film of the year worldwide, and hitting $250 million is proving to be a challenge now.

How much has Wuthering Heights earned so far at the domestic box office?

According to the latest numbers on Box Office Mojo, Wuthering Heights is experiencing significant daily declines. The film collected just $8k across 223 theaters on its 7th Wednesday at the box office in North America. After 48 days, the domestic total of the Margot Robbie starrer has hit the $83.9 million cume. It might end its run before even hitting $90 million domestically.

Less than $1 million away from beating Crazy, Stupid, Love in North America

Crazy, Stupid, Love is a 2011 rom-com movie starring Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell in leading roles. It is one of Gosling’s biggest domestic box-office hits. The Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone starrer rom-com collected $84.4 million at the box office in North America. This 2011 movie is very popular, and surpassing it would be an honor.

Internationally, Wuthering Heights is already ahead with $152.5 million against Crazy, Stupid, Love’s $60.7 million overseas total. The Ryan Gosling starrer collected $145.1 million worldwide during its run, whereas the period drama’s global cume stands at $236.4 million. Directed by Emerald Fennell, the film follows the passionate, tumultuous love story of Heathcliff and Catherine.
