Imran Khan reveals how his daughter Imara helped him cope up when he hit the weakest point of his life

Imran Khan was considered the next big thing of Bollywood when he made his debut in the year 2008 with Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. However, blame it on the wrong scripts or just sheer bad luck, despite working in big-budget films, he was unable to achieve any significant success. To add to the misery, Imran also went through a separation with his wife, Avantika Malik, after eight years of marriage. Imran stated that he went through the weakest phase of his life due to his personal and professional issues. However, the one ray of sunshine was his daughter, Imara, who helped him tackle all the issues and gave him the much-required strength. Imran Khan reveals how his daughter Imara became his biggest motivation

In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Imran Khan said that when he separated from his wife Avantika Malik in 2019, that phase was the weakest phase of his life both emotionally and physically. Even basic and simple tasks like brushing teeth or taking a bath felt daunting to him. He mentioned how he used to stay in bed all the time, ignore the doorbell, and used to stay in pajamas all days. However, whenever his daughter visited him during those days, he would wake up, do the household chores, no matter how weak he felt. Imran mentioned how he and Avantika have split custodies, so from Thursday to Sunday, Imara is with him, and on those days, no matter how weak he felt, he used to take care of his daughter without any hassle, dropping her to school, making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for her, and all the other parental duties which he needed to perform.

Even at Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding this year, Imran was present with Imara and his current girlfriend, Lekha Washington. Imran stated that he and his ex-wife are perfectly sorted when it comes to co-parenting Imara.
