Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is getting all the attention right now. The show has always been amongst the top two shows on the TRP charts. However, since a few months, the numbers have been falling but it is still in the top five. Bhavika Sharma and Hitesh Bharadwaj play the lead roles in the show. They have been loved as Savi and Rajat. The story of the show has been interesting and we saw an amazing chemistry between Bhavika and Hitesh. However, there have been reports that the show is taking a generation leap and both the actors will leave.
Bhavika recently confirmed the news as well. The last episode of Bhavika and Hitesh will be shot on January 25. Apart from this, it has been said that new actors will be joining the show for a new story post leap. As per reports, Sanam Johar has been approached to play the lead role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post leap. Sai Ketan Rao, Zaan Khan, Vaibhavi Hankare have also been offered the show.
Sanam Johar is playing the lead role in GHKPM?
Now, Sanam Johar has reacted to this news. He spoke to India Forums and said that he has been approached but nothing has been finalised yet. It is being said that he will play a dual role of a singer and a police officer. Hitesh Bharadwaj also spoke about his exit from the show.
He spoke to Etimes and said that he has mixed feelings about this leap as he feels there is more scope to his story in the show but sometimes he feels eight months is enough for a story. He said that these days, all the shows are taking leaps in 7-8 months. He is glad he got to play the role of a father on-screen and he learnt a lot.
He also said that the show is not taking leap because there were issues in the team but because the story has to move on. He said he enjoyed working with Bhavika and others in the show.
