The Golden Globes couldn’t get enough of Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.

Williams arrived first of the pair to the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet in a chic Giorgio Armani ensemble, pairing a white silk shirt and a white dinner jacket and cummerbund with a Bulgari jewelry and Christian Louboutin boots.

“It’s hot boys, god damn,” he told the gathered photographers on the Globes red carpet, smirking back when one of the gathered press quipped that the temperature was just a little hotter than him. The 24-year-old did a handful of red carpet interviews, generating gems like, “Love y’all, uh, the sound is included in that,” when asked what his message to the LGBTQIA+ community was, doing shots with Gayle King and his first go at the E! News glambot, which needed to be censored due to his double middle finger. It was endlessly endearing.

Storrie, arriving about a half-hour after his co-star, opted for an entirely Saint Laurent outfit. He wore a chic, classic black tuxedo with a skinny black tie and was adorned in Tiffany & Co’s Bird on a Rock brooch.

The 25-year-old told The Hollywood Reporter on the carpet about the difficulties of finding a skating rink in Los Angeles when he was practicing skating for Heated Rivalry. “I would have to drive 45 minutes everyday to the Valley to try to learn how to ice skate,” he said. “I would do these open skates, and it would be me and these seven-year-old girls. They would just skate laps around me.”

Inside the show, the pair were seen chatting up different guests. Williams and Storrie were seemingly in several places at once over the weekend at “Golden Week” parties, and as THR noted, had A-list guests so excited to meet them and take photos that the gathered crowds broke the no-photo policy at some parties. The duo snapped photos with a range of people from Charli XCX and Omar Apollo to K-pop star Joshua Hong from Seventeen.

During the broadcast, Williams and Storrie presented the award for best supporting actress in a television series. THR exclusively broke the news that the pair were presenting together earlier this week. “UFC fighters” came onto the stage as “extra security” given how mobbed the pair have been lately in a genuinely odd plug before the actors finally took the stage to the tune of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.”

Storrie acted nervous while Williams calmed him down, telling him to picture everyone in the audience naked. Storrie countered that he doesn’t think that works given everyone has seen them, “you know.” To which they polled the audience on if they had seen the series — maybe, they decided — however, in the room there was a huge cheer when the pair posed the question.

Williams and Storrie assured everyone that the audience member’s trainers, moms and daughters have definitely seen Heated Rivalry. “Hi, moms,” Williams cheekily said. “Hi, daughters,” Storrie followed up. Williams even helped winner Adolescence actress Erin Doherty, who won the best supporting actress in television award, up to the stage to accept her award.

One would think after the busy week the pair have had that they’d be preparing for a break, but alas, Storrie is expected to make his late night debut tomorrow (Jan. 12) on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Last week, Williams made his late night debut on The Tonight Show and had a crowd gathered that was so large and franticly excited that it invoked memories of The Beatles, according to host Jimmy Fallon, or in recent years BTS. Late Night has already issued warnings that there are no tickets for Storrie available, presumably hoping to minimize a disappointed line of fans camping out for a chance to see the actor.

Heated Rivalry, hailing from Canadian streamer Crave and airing on HBO Max in the U.S., was created for television by Letterkenny alum Jacob Tierney and centers around a fictional hockey universe based on books by Rachel Reid. The show focuses on two rival professional players — Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams) of the fictitious Montreal Metros and Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) of the fictitious Boston Raiders — as they navigate a near-decade-long situationship turned (spoiler alert) relationship over the entirety of their Major League Hockey careers.

Crave renewed Heated Rivalry for a second season and HBO Max confirmed it will continue to air the series. Tierney, who wrote and directed the show’s entire first season, has confirmed that he’ll return to direct the series, but told THR ahead of Heated Rivalry’s finale that he was considering the possibility “that other writers will come in to help” him out, but that he wasn’t sure yet.
