Giant hit its highest grossing week ever last week, as the show played its last performance at the Music Box Theatre Sunday and brought in $1.6 million across its final eight performances, with the average ticket price jumping up about $20 to $200. The play, starring John Lithgow, already recouped its capitalization in May, with Lithgow winning a Tony for his portrayal of Roald Dahl.

Last week also marked the final performance for Death Becomes Her, closing after 20 months on Broadway. In its final week, the musical, led by Betsy Wolfe and Jennifer Simard, hit $1.2 million, its highest gross since January, as capacity increased at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to 94 percent from 78 percent the prior week.

The Fear of 13 also saw its grosses increase by $180,000 from the prior week, as the play, starring Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson, closed out its run with a gross of just over $690,000 and capacity increasing to 88 percent at the James Earl Jones Theatre. The play was originally scheduled to run through July 12, but had not been drawing crowds since opening to mixed reviews in April.

The Rocky Horror Show broke a box office record at Studio 54 last week, as the revival brought in $1.2 million last week, with a slightly increased average ticket price of $157 and capacity still high at 97 percent. The revival, led by Luke Evans, welcomed Sherie Renee Scott in the role of Magenta, taking over from Juliette Lewis, on June 26, and currently has understudies rotating  in the role of Columbia, after Micaela Jae Rodriguez played her final performance in the role on June 21.

The highest earners of the week were Hamilton with $2.1 million, The Lion King with $1.94 million, Death of a Salesman with $1.92 million, MJ with $1.65 million and Giant.
