Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has innumerable fans worldwide, and Farah Khan happens to be one of them. The choreographer and filmmaker has never shied away from expressing her admiration for the Top Gun: Maverick star. Farah has now openly expressed her wish to work with Tom Cruise by heading to his Instagram handle. The director commented on the actor’s new Instagram post and tried to tell him she was eager to direct him.
Farah Khan Says She Is “Waiting” To Work With Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise recently shared a picture on Instagram featuring a behind-the-scenes shot from his upcoming film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The image shows Tom Cruise shooting an underwater scene and relying on his trainer’s cylinder for oxygen. The post impressed fans, who flooded the comment section with praises. Farah Khan also commented on the post, writing, “TOMMMMMMMMM.. waiting to work with you.” The director’s open expression of her wish has left fans impressed.
However, Farah has previously demonstrated her desire to work with Tom Cruise. A few days ago, the actor shared another post revealing his look from Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning. At the time, Farah commented, “Tommmmmmm!!! I’m waiting to work with uuuuu [sic].” It would be exciting to see the two collaborate on a project, but it remains to be seen if Tom Cruise will notice Farah’s conviction.
Earlier in 2019, Farah Khan had said it was her dream to choreograph Tom Cruise. “I definitely want to make Tom Cruise dance. That’s been a dream,” she had said at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) Goa. Later, during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, the filmmaker displayed her admiration for the actor again. At the time, she jokingly said that if she got Rs. 300 crore, she would leave her husband and go to Tom Cruise. “Unke sath kya maza aayega. Tom Cruise ke pass jaungi na mai (What fun will I have fun with kids? I will go to Tom Cruise),” Farah joked.
Farah is known for making hit films like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year, and Main Hoon Na. It has been 10 years since her last movie was released, and the director has yet to announce her next project.
